Hi, I’m Tayyabali!.

I’ve always been fascinated by how technology can solve real problems, especially those that impact communities and cities. As an Assistant Professor at Don Bosco Institute of Technology, my journey into GIS began while mentoring student projects on smart cities, spatial visualization, and urban data systems. These experiences opened my eyes to the immense power of geospatial thinking.

A turning point was my involvement in a Water Resource Management project in Yedshi village, where our team collected household data and analyzed borewell patterns using spatial tools. It showed me how GIS can create meaningful change when combined with local context and human insight.

Today, I’m exploring the intersection of GIS, Remote Sensing, and Machine Learning—building smarter ways to understand cities, resources, and environmental challenges. As a PhD Scholar, I hope to bridge research with real-world impact by designing geospatial platforms, supporting sustainable planning, and inspiring students to think beyond the classroom.
